The sisters of the Alpha Chi chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon are actively working to continue to support our sisters of color and educate ourselves to create lasting change not only in our chapter, but throughout the world. During these past weeks, our chapter has provided sisters with resources to educate themselves and ensure that we are incorporating our values of justice, sisterhood and love into our organization. We have also offered a safe and anonymous space to report discrimination and offer constructive criticism. Together, we have raised over 500 dollars to donate to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Thank you again to everyone who donated! Moving forward, our Leadership Team will be implementing an educational program that will require the members of our chapter to educate themselves even further to secure a change within our chapters infrastructure and recruitment efforts. We are constantly aiming to live up to our motto, Esse Quam Videri- to be rather than to seem to be. We hope to motivate other chapters to do the same and ACT for change.
