Our Philanthropies
Being an International sorority, we have three philanthropies we raise awareness and funds for. We are extremely proud of our philanthropic efforts for The National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD), The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), and The Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation. We are continuously holding service events or fundraising events to support our philanthropies. We do community service events throughout the year, as well. Learn more about the them below!
National Association Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD)
ANAD is a national organization dedicated to alleviating the problems of anorexia nervosa and other eating disorders. Its methods include education, counseling, self-help groups, and funding for research. DPhiE supprts ANAD to help educate people on these serious diseases. Our chapter hosts an annual event called ANAD Week where we have an event every day of the week to bring awareness to the organization and why it exists.
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF)
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was founded by a Delta Phi Epsilon sister, Phyllis Kossoff from Delta Chapter at Hunter College in New York. CFF raises funds for research and for improving the quality of life for those suffering from cystic fibrosis. Our chapter hosts an annual event to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Pie-A-Deepher, where our sisters get a pie to the face for $1!
Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation
Our international sorority put together a foundation organized to secure funds to assit the women of Delta Phi Epsilon with their education. Scholarships are given annually to members of Delta Phi Epsilon. In addition to granting scholarships, the Foundation also makes grant monies available to the sorority to support educational and leadership development programs. The Foundation is also responsbile for coordinating all of the philanthropic giving by our collegiate chapters and alumnae associations.
Community Service
Our chapter participates in many community service events throughout the year. Some events include Relay for Life, the Color Run, collecting tabs for the Ronald McDonald House, and so much more!
